DroneLook Support
For app or hardware help, email [email protected]. Include the iPhone model, iOS version, DroneLook hardware model, and what you were doing when the issue occurred.
Supported hardware
The current iPhone app supports DroneLook Micro and the DroneLook S3+C5 Bridge. USB-C is the preferred live connection. Bluetooth is an optional fallback that starts only when you tap Scan in the app.
USB-C connection
- Connect the DroneLook device directly to the iPhone with a data-capable USB-C cable.
- Open DroneLook and wait for the device status to confirm the USB connection.
- If it does not connect, disconnect the cable, close and reopen DroneLook, then reconnect.
- Try another data-capable cable if the device powers on but never appears in the app.
Bluetooth connection
- Disconnect USB-C before using Bluetooth.
- Tap Scan at the top of the map and allow Bluetooth access when iOS asks.
- Keep the DroneLook device nearby until the app confirms the connection.
- Use iOS Settings to restore Bluetooth permission if it was previously denied.
Detections and saved history
Remote ID availability depends on the aircraft broadcast, radio conditions, range, and supported frequencies. A powered device can save supported detections for later transfer. Keep the device connected until a saved-history transfer finishes.
Permissions
- Location shows the iPhone relative to detected drones.
- Notifications provide local detection alerts.
- Camera is requested only when AR Finder is opened.
- Bluetooth is needed only for the optional Bluetooth connection.
Delete app data
Open Settings in DroneLook and choose Purge All Drone Data to delete saved detections and flight history. Deleting the app also removes its locally stored data from the iPhone.
